  1. What is synergetic features?

Synergetic features can refer to the combined effects or interactions of different linguistic elements that contribute to the overall meaning of a sentence or text. These features can include semantic relationships, such as synonymy, antonymy, hyponymy, and meronymy, as well as other semantic phenomena like polysemy and homonymy. Synergetic features in semantics can also involve the combination of different linguistic units, such as words, phrases, or clauses, to create new meanings or nuances. This can include the use of collocations, idiomatic expressions, and figurative language, which enhance the semantic richness and communicative effectiveness of a text.

2. Write about fundamental semantic relations
Fundamental semantic relations refer to the basic relationships that exist between words or concepts in a language. These relations help to establish the meaning and connections between different elements within a sentence or text. Some of the commonly recognized fundamental semantic relations include:

1. Synonymy: Words that have similar or identical meanings, such as "big" and "large."

2. Antonymy: Words that have opposite meanings, such as "hot" and "cold."
3. Hyponymy: A hierarchical relationship where one word (hyponym) is a specific instance or subtype of another word (hypernym), such as "apple" being a hyponym of "fruit."
4. Meronymy: A part-whole relationship where one word represents a part of another word, such as "wheel" being a meronym of "car."
5. Homonymy: Words that have the same spelling or pronunciation but different meanings, such as "bank" (financial institution) and "bank" (river bank).

3. What you understood about compositionality?
Compositionality in semantics refers to the principle that the meaning of a complex expression is determined by the meanings of its constituent parts and the way they are combined. According to this principle, the meaning of a phrase or sentence can be derived from the meanings of its individual words and the rules of combination that govern their arrangement.
In other words, the meaning of a whole is a function of the meanings of its parts and the way they are syntactically combined. This allows for the systematic and predictable interpretation of language, as the meaning of a complex expression can be computed by recursively applying the meanings of its smaller components.
For example, in the phrase "black cat," the meaning of the whole phrase can be understood by combining the meanings of the individual words "black" and "cat." The compositionality principle allows us to understand that a "black cat" refers to a cat that is black in color. Compositionality is a fundamental concept in formal semantics and plays a crucial role in understanding how language conveys meaning through the combination of words and phrases.
