The selection of the statistical unit is chosen depending on the particular application
of the survey.

(accelerometer, gyroscope, etc.)

The role of technology
ICT technologies are making easier the
work for collecting the data, but
the analysis
can be
done only by persons, and also the output decisions.
Technology is not providing new transport modes, nor business models, there is the
need of a shift that now can be seen only through education.
