What kills us
I always knew I was going to be a heart doctor like my father. I had it all
planned out: One day I’d return to my hometown
of San Antonio and join
him in his practice, working side by side to improve the health of the
community I grew up in. That was the plan anyway.
But sometimes life
takes you on a different course, opening your eyes to other possibilities and
leading you to new places.
