  • 13 June 2006 – present: in-house translator at Deloitte Slovenia:




  • translation from English into Slovene, from Slovene into English and proof-reading of the various accounting, audit, banking and financial texts, annual reports, brochures, official publications, etc.;




  • 1 September – 30 November 2005: traineeship at the Translation Division of the European Central Bank:




  • translation from English into Slovene, from Slovene into English and proof-reading of the official ECB publications, press releases and other internal documents;

  • work on the ECB translation memory and terminology database management;

  • received additional training in the use of CAT tools (provided by Trados GmbH);







  • translation of EU texts from English into Slovene, French into Slovene;

  • translation of banking and finance texts from English into Slovene and Slovene into English;

  • 3 – 4 December 2004: “Translating for the Directorate-General for Translation” seminar organised in Ljubljana, Slovenia, by the European Commission DG for Translation; a two day conference on translating for the European Commission that covered all major aspects, requirements and practical advice regarding translations of EU texts;
