* WILL + INFINITIVE – показывает решимость сделать чтото (determination) :

I will help you. (I definitely intend to help you).

Joy will clarify it. (Joe definitely clarifies it).

  • Will + infinitive – в повествовательных предложениях для 1 лиц; для 2 и 3 лиц лучше be going to;

He is going to resign.

Are you going to leave without paying?

I’ll forward the message to you.

We’ll gather at Orif’s.



*won’t используется для всех лиц но в другом значении. won’t = “отказаться”

He isn’t going to resign. (он не собирается увольняться) He doesn’t intend to resign.

He won’t resign. (он не уволиться) He refuses to resign.

More examples,

  1. TOM: There aren’t any matches in the house.

ANN: I know, I’m going to get some today.или

ANN: I’ll get some today. (I’ve just decided to buy some matches).



  1. ANN: Where is the telephone book?

TOM: I’m going to get it for you. (I decided to get it before she gave the question) или

TOM: I’ll get it for you. (I’ve just decided to do it).



What are you doing with that spade? – I am going to plant some apple trees.

She has bought some wool; she is going to knit a jumper.

Why are you taking down all pictures? – I’m going to repaper the room.

Some workman arrived today with a roller. I think they are going to repair our road.

Why is he carrying his guitar? – He is going to play it in the underground.

This is a terribly heavy box. – I’ll help you to carry it.

I’ve left my watch upstairs. – I’ll go and get it for you.
