8. Rating control and criteria of estimation of knowledges, abilities and skills on discipline cultural science

The Basic criterion of quality of preparedness of student is his rating, composed from a current estimation and estimation of final control.


100 marks on the whole on discipline are up-diffused as follows:

Current control (CC)

Current control includes:

- estimation of theoretical knowledge of students on every practical employment and degree of participating in the interactive methods of teaching (theoretical approach);

- estimation of ability to analyses additional material, apply knowledge in the conditions of practical situations (decision of situational tasks);

Current control of theoretical knowledge on practical employments is carried out different new pedagogical technologies depending on the specific of section, in obedience to an executable code.

On the department of social sciences of students not necessarily to estimate on every employment. Control of attendance of lectures and presence of texts of lectures is included in the estimation of current control.

On the whole 100 a mark (100 %) can be distributed as follows: 10 marks (10%) on a home compendium; 70 marks (70 %) on a verbal answer; 20 marks (20 %) on the answers of additional questions. At the end of employment declared final estimation.

Working off practical employments is carried out on a department. By the presence of compendium of the skipped practical employment and theoretical answer to the teacher. Students, getting three «NB», must get permission of dean's office for working off. Order fixed in an educational magazine. For working off practical employment a coefficient is used 0, 5.

Well «4»

Answer above average, mainly proper the requirements of the program, at an answer assumes some errors. Participating in the analysis of questions, ability to work with literature and others . Presence of lectures, working notebooks. Has independent thought. Mastered a theme on 85 %.

3.

55-70

Satisfactorily «3»

An answer is middle in quality, at an answer assumes errors, gives not complete answers, separate inaccuracies are possible and lecture records, working notebook. Does not participate in the analysis of questions, does not have independent thought. Mastered a theme on 70%.

4.

0- 54

Unsatisfactorily «2»

An answer has severe errors, cannot correctly build the structure of answer for a question, inaccuracy during work with literature, passive participating in the analysis of questions, inaccurate conduct of lecture notebook, to the working notebook. Mastered a theme on 50 %.

The criterion of evaluation of practical employments is a current estimation, composed from control of preparedness of student to employment and estimation of quality of implementation of IWS.


Independent work of student (IWS).

The mark IWS on the department of social sciences №1 made on the basis of order of Department of Higher and Middle Special education of Republic Uzbekistan and according to the «exemplary regulations of organization, control and estimation of independent work of student in TMA».

For development of independent, thought of students, inoculating of skills of work with scientific literature, on the department of social sciences №1, on the requirements of rating position, in the thematic plan of practical employments themes are plugged for independent work of students. IWS joins in FC and has 5 marks (0, 05 coefficient) from FC (50 marks).

IWS (abstracts, pictures, charts, video films, computer disks) on objects on the department of social sciences kept in the archive of department in the flow of school year. A student not collecting less than 55 marks shut out on FC.

A form of IWS is a lecture. A student mastered a theme well, the internet used materials, participates in the discussion of theme, able logically to think.

3.

55 – 70,9

Satisfactorily «3»

A form of IWS is an abstract. A student understands essence of theme, participates in a discussion, but does not think logically.

4.

0 – 54,9

Unsatisfactorily «2»

A student does not know material on the topic, work is not executed in no form.


Intermediate control (IC)

IC is conducted 1 time in a semester by an associate professor or professor of department for 100 to the mark system as writing work, test or verbal conversation with the students of faculties. For the calculation of coefficient the mark of the IC is multiplied by 0, 2. To the IC students, not owing on lecture and practical employments, are admitted, collecting more than 55 %. The IC is conducted only in case that on discipline taken no less than 72 hours.

Final control

FC conducted on completion of employments on discipline. To FC students, successfully completing a course and having a positive estimation (more than 55 marks) on current employments, are assumed + IWS.

FC estimated for 100 the ball system. FC for students on objects on the department of social sciences №1 conducted in writing on a department or tests in the test cent of TMA. At the unsatisfactory handing over FC retaking is possible with permission a dean's office.
