Statement of the Problem
The objective of this research is to determine the application of Dunning-Kruger effect to student’s self-efficacy.
It specifically aims to answer the following questions:

   What are the socio-demographic profile of the respondents with respect to the following dimension:

      Age
      
   2. 
      Gender
      
   3. 
      Year Level

   What is the level of intelligence of the respondents as measured by IQ test?
   
3. 
   What is the level of efficacy of the respondents as measured by self-efficacy scale?
   

Statement of the Hypothesis
One’s perception about himself affects his beliefs, behavior and identity. Because of this, our curiosity drives us with how intelligence or someone’s capability influences self-efficacy.
The researchers formulated the hypothesis.
H_o: There is no significant correlation between student’s IQ and self-efficacy.
Significance of the Study
This research study will be beneficial to the following:
Psychology Students: It is with great importance that this study is about the application of Dunning-Kruger Effect to the students’ self-efficacy. Since this field of study is related with human behavior and brain processing this will help them gather knowledge that they will need for their future activities as students. This will also develop their understanding of human and its behavior.
Society: This will apply to every person considering that this study seeks to understand a vital aspect that is human’s self-efficacy. This will serve as a way for every individual to have a better understanding of oneself and those people around them. This will help them be part of each other’s improvement. It will help to cause the development of each person as well as the society.
