| Request Tracker (RT) Requestor Documentation
Request Tracker request forms may be accessed by following the instructi= ons below:

Submit a request using the web form= a> and sign in using your 8-character UWaterloo username (e.g. j25robe= r) and password

If the form you are looking for is not listed here, it may have been= migrated to Atlassian/Jira Ser= vice Management. Consult the appropriate service page or area if you ca= n=E2=80=99t find the form you are looking for.

Fill in the values as required

If you are submitting the ticket for another user, simply add in the= ir 8-character UWaterloo username (e.g. j25rober) or full email addres= s(es) to the Requestor(s) field.

Use the TAB key to move through the form = as hitting enter (in some cases) may submit the form

Once all values are filled in, click Submit to subm= it the form.
Logging into Request Tracker
Use your 8-character UWaterloo username (e.g. j25rober) and passwor= d to log in at https://rt.uwaterloo.ca/= SelfService/Forms/index.html
The RT menu is along the top of the window and includes:

Home - takes you to the Open Tickets screen

Tickets - by default, you are looking at open = tickets. Use the pull-down menu to access Closed tickets

New ticket - use this to create a new ticket i= n any available queue. If you aren't sure which form is appropriate f= or your request, please use the IST general request form

Logged in as - log out of the RT system

By default, the SelfService Home screen will show your currently op= en tickets.
