NATIONAL MUSIC IN UZBEKISTAN

NATIONAL MUSIC IN UZBEKISTAN
Today's music of Uzbekistan has a very long and rich history. Shashmaqom, a Central Asian classical music style, is believed to have originated in the cities of Bukhara and Samarkand at the end of the 16th century. The term "Shashmaqom" is translated as "six maqam" and refers to a musical structure of different musical styles with six sections similar to classical Persian traditional music. The interludes of oral Sufi poetry interrupt the music, usually starting in a low register and gradually rising to a climax and returning to the initial melody.
In the 19th century, when Turkestan became part of Tsarist Russia, the first attempts to record the national tunes of Turkestan began. Russian musicians helped preserve these tunes by introducing sheet music to the region.
In the 50s of the last century, Uzbek folk music failed to become popular, and this genre was banned from radio stations by the Soviets. They didn't completely disband the music. Despite the ban, folk music groups continued to play their music in their own way and distributed it individually. After Uzbekistan gained independence from the USSR in the early 1990s, people's interest in traditional Uzbek music revived. Nowadays, traditional music is regularly played on television and radio stations of Uzbekistan.
People's artist of Uzbekistan Turgun Alimatov is considered by the wide music community and ethnomusicologists as the first virtue of Shashmaqom, a composer of Uzbek classics and folklore, a skilled tanbur, dutor, and sato performer. He gained wide fame not only in Uzbekistan, but also on the world scale with his incomparable skill in his performances and compositions. The works "Segah", "Chorgoh", "Buzruk", "Navo", "Tanovar" are famous. His image was associated with national pride and appeared to the world as a symbol of Uzbek classical music.
Another famous Uzbek composer is Muhammadjon Mirzayev. "Spring Waltz" and "Sarvinoz" are among the most famous compositions. Every spring, "Spring Waltz" is played on TV and radio channels of Uzbekistan.Modern music of UzbekistanSince the beginning of the 1990s, many types of popular music have developed in Uzbekistan, including folk music, pop music, and rock music. Uzbek pop is well developed and is gaining major success through pop media and various radio stations.

Music (Greek mousiche) is an art form that reflects the thoughts and feelings of human emotions through the sequence or complexity of musical sounds. Its content consists of specific musical artistic images that represent changing mental states. Music embodies human emotions (for example, joy, excitement, emotions, sadness, fear, fear, etc.). It also reflects individual qualities (courage, ambition, sensitivity, calmness, etc.) and its nature (client) [1].

It should be said that folklore works, considered one of the main directions of music, are different from other aspects of art. The foundations of folklore are based on the aesthetic thinking of the ancient world. Written and oral monuments of ancient world tourists and historians about narratives and traditions, various customs and ceremonies are important for folklore and ethnography. Therefore, it is very important to study the field, pass it on to generations, and research it [2].Perhaps tourists prefer spiritual rest. At the same time, music in different countries is different and not only meets the needs of tourists, but also reflects its history and culture. Similarly, there is national music in the territory of Uzbekistan, and tourists visit this region. Uzbekistan is a country with high potential through national music and songs.

As evidence of our thoughts, the 3000-year-old musical instrument found in the village of Mominabad, Samarkand region, the images of the musician depicting the Ayritom archaeological monument near Termiz, and many other examples show that our national music art is undoubtedly rich and ancient. history. At the moment, a lot of work is being done in our country to develop our national music based on its world-class capabilities. In particular, an international status art conference was held in Shahrisabz. Representatives of prestigious international organizations such as UNESCO and Asian Folklore Organization participated in the event. About 300 participants and guests from 73 countries took part in the festival. It is a great happiness for all of us to be famous among them not only in their own country, but also in their own country.President of the Republic of Uzbekistan SH. Mirziyayev emphasized that "Shashmaqom", which is a product of the artistic thinking of our people, can be compared to six self-sacrificing rivers. Over the centuries, these rivers entered the world of culture, filling and enriching it in every way. I believe that its inclusion in the list of world cultural heritage by UNESCO has deep meaning and importance [4]. The "International status" festival was an important factor in showcasing the rich history and national music of Uzbekistan on a global scale and increasing the tourism potential.
As a continuation of these festivals and conferences, on November 1, 2018, the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On holding the international festival of the art of philanthropy" was adopted. In the decision, an organizing committee was formed to prepare for the festival and hold it. During the past period, great preparations were made for this international festival. The festival is held in order to introduce the public to the unique examples of the Uzbek national folk art, to increase the respect and interest in this type of art among young people, to strengthen the friendship of brotherly peoples, and to expand the scope of creative relations and cultural cooperation at the international level. it is held once every two years in early April [6].Music has such a power that through its tuning, it reflects the history of a state or event in the human mind. Music festivals and conferences serve to increase the number of tourists coming to our country and promote their national music on a global scale. In conclusion, Uzbekistan is known throughout the world as a country rich in national music.
