Describe your favorite season of the year

1. Do you prefer rainy days or sunny days?
The former, for sure! I love rainy weather because it improves air quality in my city. I mean it gives us a chance to enjoy fresh air, which is an amazing feeling. Moreover, what can be more enjoyable than lying in bed and binge watching favorite movies while it is raining outside the window.
2. What do you do on rainy days?
It depends on my mood. If I feel energetic, I will go for a walk taking my umbrella with me and enjoy the fresh rainy weather. But if I find it difficult to get out of my bed, I will just lie down and watch Netflix whole day.
3. Do you like wet weather? (Do you prefer wet or dry weather?)
Of course, I do. I am a rain lover. I feel the rhythm of the rain and I love the way how each rain drop changes the view outside the window. I can also enjoy the fresh smell of rain and the sensation when the rain drops touch my skin.
4. Is there any part in your country where it doesn’t rain much?
Unfortunately yes, there is. More than 60% of Uzbekistan is covered by deserts. In some places, it has even been more than a decade since the last rainfall.

5. What do you usually do when it starts to rain and you are outside?
I immediately start to look for a shelter where I can be safe from getting wet. After that, I wait for some time and if the rain doesn’t stop, I call taxi and get to my destination.

6. Do you think rain is good?
Absolutely Yes! Rain is a crucial factor for successful agricultural activity. Farming depends on sufficient amount of rainfall. Therefore dry seasons can result in devastating crop failures.

7. How does rain affect life in your country?
Unfortunately, it affects negatively! Due to the fact that our cities don’t have proper drainage systems, everywhere gets flooded as soon as it starts to rain. For this reason, we should find a way to deal with rainwater efficiently as soon as possible.
8. Have you ever had to change your plans because of the rain?
Of course I have! Actually, it happens a lot. But the one I remember the most was the time when we had to cancel our trip to mountains with my friends. The reason was heavy rain which could have made the trip unsafe.
