Dear Sir/ Madam,
Enclosed is information regarding a Tender for Supply and Delivery of Heather Brash. We are seeking the supply and delivery of up to 12,000 bags of Heather Brash to various sites in the Peak District National Park and South Pennines SAC.
The Heather Brash to which this tender relates is to be used as the first stage in stabilising and restoring bare peat areas on the uplands of the Peak District and South Pennines. The land it will be transported to and spread on ("the Recipient Land") is often agricultural land which may be managed for grouse shooting. The Contractor acknowledges that it is aware of the intended use of the Heather Brash and warrants that he has made the appropriate enquiries at the Donor Site and that there is no known history of pest or disease at the Donor Site which may affect any agricultural or sporting interests on the Recipient Land. The contractor must obtain confirmation in writing that there is no known history of pest or disease which may affect any agricultural or sporting interest on the Recipient Land from all Donor Site landowners.
Please note we are now able to accept Heather Brash cut from outside the Peak Disrict National Park or the South Pennines SAC.
If you are interested please read the Tender carefully and return
with the following items;
-
Completed Section 1 Form of Tender (including any sub contractors details)
-
Part D Completed Itemised Costs
-

-
Letter, or other written confirmation, from the owner of the donor site confirming all permissions and that there is no known history of pest or disease at the Donor Site which may affect any agricultural or sporting interests on the Recipient Land.
