Educational and cultural activities foreseen during the summer school:

• 
  Excursion „ Get to know University of Latvia ” - history museum of University of Latvia, punishment cell (karceris), Big Hall (Lielais Auls), Small Hall (Mazais Auls), Senate meeting hall, UL Business Incubator of Faculty of Economics and Management etc.
  
• 
  Excursion „ Get to know Riga and its history ” – guided tour through Old Town and Riga city centre, chance to see Riga from highest sightseeing points of the city.
  
• 
  Excursion „ Get to know history of Latvia ” – excursion to The Latvian Museum of National History.
  
• 
  Educational excursion to Latvian Technological Centre – place where part of Latvia’s innovative companies is developed.
  
• 
  Educational excursion to one of Latvian companies who is using innovation in their operation (for example, in 2013 it was company „Spilva”).
  
• 
  Excursions to companies that base their operation on Latvian natural and/or cultural historical treasures. More and more companies in their products use treasures of Latvian nature and culture – ecologically clean products, grown in Latvia, as well as in service industry Latvian cultural history inheritance is used, for example, folk songs, ancient Latvian signs and symbols etc.

  Attending cultural events of „ Riga 2014 ”.
