Measures to enhance energy efficiency


In order to put into effect measures aimed to increase energy conservation and energy efficiency under Program called the “Energy Conservation and Enhanced Energy Efficiency during the 2011-2020 period” and increase ecological efficiency in 2014, the following work has been performed:

As the result of implementing the measures to recondition heating systems and thermal insulation of steam and hot water pipelines, as well as putting appropriate measures into effect in related areas, amount of heat energy losses during its transmission has decreased by 25% relative to that in the previous periods and 2,1% from quantity of supplied thermal power in 2014.




  • Change of obsolete boilers ТП-20 to new boilers ДЕ25/24-380:

In 2014 the fourth steam boiler ДЕ25/24-380 was put into operation on heat-and-power station. The boiler accommodates modern burner “Weishaupt”. As of December 2014, 67% of heat-and-power station stock of stem boilers were replaced.

As this took place, target figure of gas saving for 2014 amounted to 27 692,1 thousand rubles which corresponded to an annual saving of 5 605 thousand m3 of gas.

Target figure of change in specific fuel consumption on supplied thermal power from heat source has decreased by 2,8% relative to those for the past periods and constituted 163 kg of equivalent fuel/Gcal.


  • Reconditioning of heat-and-power station foaming fire-fighting pumping plant:

Automatic fire-fighting system of fuel oil storage tank stock is designed to detect the presence of fire hazardous situation on the premises of heat-and-power station fuel oil handling system, as well as fuel oil pump house and extinguish fire started in a semi-automatic mode.

  • Adoption of an upper level of heat-and-power station boiler, turbine and auxiliary equipment automation and control providing a possibility of remote monitoring and control from on-duty personnel workstation:

At heat-and-power station TsUGV, the project on an automatic maintenance of steam pressure in deaerators Nos. 3-6 and temperature of heat exchangers was implemented.

All parameters are displayed on an automatic workstation (control panel) from which the process can be operated.
