Initial and final concentration of Metal ion in prepared ionic solution was determined
by Atomic Absorption
Spectroscopy. Lignin is a highly cross-linked aromatic compound. The highest metal adsorption capacity was offered
by alkali lignin as related to lignin based resin. This could be feasible because of their large porous. The adsorption of
𝐶𝑑
2+
ion was formed through the electro static interaction of
𝐶𝑑
2+
ion with the resin mass.
