(max. 200 words)

I have participated in organisation of IbratWiki camp. We have learnt to write articles about
Uzbekistan on Wikipedia both in English and Uzbek. Additionally, organisators of Ibrat helped us
to write correct in English. I pulished more than 20 articles about my country. Moreover, I have
edited 25 articles which contained old information about Uzbekistan. Also I helped "Ibrat
farzandlari" organisation to take speaking exams from students who were going to study there.

20. In fewer than 500 words, please, describe why you are interested in participating in the
CAYLA program. In your answer, pay attention to the following questions:
How do you understand the role of civil society?
Why is it important for you to get involved in solving social challenges?
How can CAYLA help you further develop as a professional?
How will the knowledge and skills gained through CAYLA help you further develop
your community and address its needs?

In this developing world, in most countries citizens are dealing with lots of problems which are
not known to their government. It is a huge problem and there should be a person who is far
from only writing documents and collecting information, but who works with society, with their
problems, meaningly helps them at least making the problems clear for their ogovernment and
incharges who can solve them. Actually, I was not really active person, but when I saw the
issues around my society which were not solved and people's emotion, difficulties, I realised that
I should be the person to help them even I could only solve the minor part of them. I started to
be the leader of the fields such as leader of the class at school and university who helps others
to solve their problems related to their study and life at education field. It seemed to be hard but,
most students gained some help from me and I was the connector of both teachers and
students and it is still in the case. Moreover, I want to be more important for my society. I want
to have more availability to help young people to solve their personal problems and which are
about their study. Additionally, it would be better if youngsters had more availability to show off
their abilities.

21. Describe a problem or challenging situation that you took initiative to resolve. What
steps did you take? What was the outcome?
Please select an example that illustrates your problem-solving skills, leadership
abilities, and/or commitment to public service (max. 300 words)

I have dealt with lots of problems and tried to help my group to be released from them. Initially, I
should say about my group at university. This year we trained to attend annual competition of
our university which contained lots of tasks to do. For example, debate, public speaking, talent
show and sport competitions. One by one we attented them and there were unfair situation in
public speaking, I mean our participant should be the winner but they gave him 3rd and all of my
group members were dimotivated because of it. At that time they decided not to attend in talent
show and sport competition, but I organised small meeting with them and talked with my group.
I told them about our hard work about talent show and sport cup, actually I tried to give them
some motivation and it worked. I said that they deserved lots of trophies but if they wouldn't
participate them, nothing would change and we should be winner in other competitions. I didn't
sleep at that night and collected as many information as possible for our talent show, I worked
with all of them specifically, learnt their abilities, weak points, and unusual sides. Eventually, I
made up one group for talent show and next group for sport cup. Thanks ti our hard work and
not to give up, we won both of the trophies and we were the champion of the whole competition
of the university. To conclude, I should say that members would stop their try because of the
unfair results, but I knew that their effort was respectable and wanted them to have something
for their try.

22. Do you have an idea for a social project/solution that you think might create positive
impact on your community and/or the region?
If yes, briefly describe your idea for a social project (max. 200 words)

From my opinion, there are several fields where should be some changes. Initially, it is related to
our university systems, especially the subjects. I think our incharges of our universities should
be more specific in their way, I mean, the future IT specialist should be taught only IT-related
subjects, pedagogical student should not be disturbed with other difficult subjects. Briefly,
students must be professionals of only their fields, but not all of them, because it is impossible
and they only be stressed and confused from their own way. The next thing is related to the
employments. People who are applying for their jobs should not be rained of several abilities
and documents, but only diploma or their work experience is enough, I think.
