Ultrasonography

Unilocular  cysts  are  virtually  always  benign  and  will  regress  in  3  to  6

months  do  not  require  surgical  management  with  oophorectomy  or

oophorocystectomy.

Diagnosis and Management

In  recent  years,  ultrasonography  has  become  an  excellent  tool  for

predicting the presence of a simple ovarian cyst.
